This is why journalists and analysts annoy intelligent people. They modify their arguments to fit the topic of the day so they can win the argument of the day. Steve Liesman is an intelligent man, for sure. He is also intelligent enough to spin his words so that he appears to be right, all of the time. It is also extremely annoying when he applies economic theories that are irrelevant in a new world global economy. Of course we can take learn from these theories and apply them where appropriate but Steve leans on them too often to make himself appear right when in reality it would take a room fool of economists months to never finish the argument as to which theory is right or wrong.

The US economy is beyond unstable. The global economy is beyond unstable. There is no right answer. To spend or not to spend, that is the question.

I will give you the real solution.

1. Hire a few hundred volunteers / retired CFO's to find fraud waste and abuse in government spending.

2. Get rid of Unions

3. Get some journalists to cover politics like TMZ covers hollywood
stars.

Mario Gabelli is the reason why nothing gets done or fixed. People dodge questions. Mario totally blew off Becky Quicks question. Then had the arrogance to tell Joe Kernen he would give him the dollar back he got paid to be on the show...

WTF ? Get this guy off the show and fire him. What a weak man. And then he lies about counting the earnings! Icing on the cake...

Change will never occur when we have leaders like Mario Gabelli. This level of arrogance that runs rampid on Wall Street is the reason why Americans and the International community is so upset.

Respectable news anchors like Rick Santelli, Becky Quick, Erin Burnett and many others need to start their own channel. Amanda Drury might have nice breasts but what a joke. If I need to see cleavage while listening to financial news I can open another browser window. CNBC simply crossed the line with this broad in all seriousness.

Did CNBC hire someone from Telemundo or what? LMAO

CNBC has officially jumped the shark with Amanda Drury!

WTF Business Broadcasters? Are your heads in the clouds again?

I am so sick and tired of listening to all of you say "Listen" like a bunch of teenagers...

I am so sick and tired of listening to all of you say "Listen" like a bunch of teenagers using the word "like". Charlie Gasparino needs to take the word "Listen" out of his personal wikipedia. It is getting old Charles. Where are you today? Why aren't you standing on a soap box screaming at Wall Street to get their head in the game.

Layoffs keep coming and coming and coming and coming....!!! We are all barely getting by and yet the market continues to go up. Can someone please help me understand why this is happening. I thought Wall Street always looked for tremendous growth before rewarding stocks. If nobody has a dime to spend and we are all worried about losing our jobs, where is this mysterious growth going to come from?

What is moving the market upward? Where is this confidence coming from on Wall Street? What does Wall Street know that Main Street cannot see, taste or smell?

C'mon Becky! C'mon Carl! C'mon Joe! Get me some real answers! Mark Hanes c'mon brotha..... I thought I could rely on you! You are losing your edge.

Please take note! The word "Listen" has to go! Have one of your interns count how many times it is said in one day on CNBC. Tell your guests they sound like geeks trying to be cool by getting geeked up on the word "LISTEN".

Erin Burnett. Keep up the good work and tell Mark to get angry!

Where are the answers?

I am so sick and tired of listening to people get interviewed and not being held accountable for their comments. When did journalists turn into a spineless talking heads? At what point did journalists stop asking for facts and figures from their guests. You allow politicians to spew numbers and never produce sources of their figures and data. You allow politicians and business leaders to avoid answering a question that has a yes or no answer. It is such bullshit. Let teenagers ask the questions and the guest will not be allowed to move on until the question is answered. The public is not able to put politicians and leaders on the spot to get yes or no answers. It is your job to get the facts and the and answers and you are all doing a horrible job.

Why is that some of our best coverage comes from people like John Stewart and Bill Maher. How is possible that HBO and Comedy Central produce better coverage than CNBC and CNN. I agree that Rick Santelli is a healthy dose of real journalism at its best but the problem is with CNBC is that Rick Santelli is not a host handling interviews. Instead we have spineless talking heads that can't get anything out of their guest outside of legalesque speculative jargon about how things are going up or going down.

I want to know how the DOW can be above 10,000 and unemployment can be at an all time high. I want to know why it is ok for the government to manage the military, police, fire departments, water supply and sanitation, SEC, FCC, FAA and so on but we cannot find a way to make health care work. I was in the Air Force and our healthcare system worked just great. In fact it was wonderful.

I want to know why nobody has been held accountable at the SEC for failing to pick up and track so many fraudulent trading organizations. Who was fired without benefits? Who was held accountable. You guys cover business like it is a horse race. "Who are you picking today Bob?" "Why do you think Silver Lightning didn't win yesterday Julie?" "If I want opinions I will watch Jim Cramer with respect to stocks" "If I want off the wall ridiculous right wing banter I will watch Larry Kudlow" "Larry is an pompous man that doesn't do a thing outside of entertain right wing Fox news junkies that want his personal opinion" "I want answers. I want real data from college interns that work for nothing at CNBC and CNN. Where are the answers? Where are the interviews with Yes or No answers?

Ricks biggest fan

BB

PS It is beyond ghetto that CNBC plus requires internet explorer to watch CNBC Plus.

Rick Santelli is apparently a man that screams aloud when the bailout goes beyond Wall Street. How come rick has not screamed on television about how poorly business journalists have performed over the past several years.

He would not go on the John Stewart Show to defend his position and to defend his network and I cannot understand why he made this decision.

I have lost a lot of respect for most business news reporters. Where are the people that uncover the news before it happens. Where is the investigative journalism spirit.

Since we cannot rely on the SEC our country needs help.

Rick Santelli gets much needed White House attention

Rick, I voted for Obama and still believe that he needs help with this housing plan. The plan...

Rick, I voted for Obama and still believe that he needs help with this housing plan. The plan might be unfair but that can be fixed with your help.

I think the problem is as simple as this: Most people cannot instill confidence while on camera. Robert Gibbs does not instill confidence. Timothy Geithner does not instill confidence. Ben Bernanke does not instill confidence. Henry Paulson scared the shit out of anyone that listened. He couldn't give a speech if his life depended on it.

Our country needs the help of Hollywood. We need Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard, and Dick Wolf to help get this country on track. It is not just about spending Trillions of dollars. We need people on camera that know what they are doing but more importanlty to look and sound like they know what they are doing.

Why do you think people love you, Rick? It is your ability to communicate with the viewers on camera combined with your message. It is not your message alone. A great plan delivered by a poor public speaker sounds like a horrible plan. Our country needs confidence as much as it needs a good stimulus plan.

Hollywood helped elect Obama. Obama now needs to ask them for more help. Geithner needs to be put through a rigorous public speaking boot camp with Hollywood experts training his every move. Bill Clinton should be coaching Geithner, Bernanke, and Gibbs.

The White House needs to consult with Hollywood

Rick, Ask President Obama to put all the smart guys in the office where they come up with...

Rick, Ask President Obama to put all the smart guys in the office where they come up with legislation that will get the economy moving and to hire someone like Tom Hanks to speak to the public. Guys like Henry Paulson and Tim Geitner might be brilliant but their ability to speak on camera does nothing but instill fear and a lack of confidence. When you meet with Robert Gibbs in Washington D.C., tell him that one of the reasons Obama won the election, was because he instilled confidence and gave millions of Americans and millions around the world, a sense of hope. Tim Giethner and Henry Paulson scare people and they do nothing to instill confidence. Its like asking the shy smart kid in your class to be the leader. He or she is going to have a tough time getting everyone to believe his plan is going to work regardless of his grade point average.

Rick, would you do us a favor and tell Michelle Carusso Cabrerra to pick one last name. We all find it beyond annoying that she thinks it is necessary to have two last names on a daily show.
